Kirsten Floyd joined the Becker & Company team in early December 2015 as the Wills, Estates and Personal Estate Planning Legal Assistant.
Kirsten attended the University of the Fraser Valley and received her Legal Administrative Assistant Certificate in early 2015. After graduation, she worked as a junior conveyancer while preparing Wills and Powers of Attorney. Wanting to pursue her career in the Wills and Estate practice, she joined Becker & Company and handles the Wills and Estate Planning and estate administration department. She also assists with some small conveyancing matters such as Title Transfers and Transmissions.
Kirsten’s responsibilities include drafting estate planning documents such as Wills, Enduring Power of Attorney, and Representation Agreements. She also handles the administration of Estates, ranging from preparing court filings to obtain estate grants to assisting estate administrators in handling several parts of an estate. Kirsten works closely with clients to assist with the process of administering and finalizing an estate.
Kirsten enjoys going to the gym, walking her dog Lucy, camping, spending time with family and friends and plans to continue her education and pursue her paralegal certificate.
